Just as Abraham purchased the land with his own shekels...

18-1 Did you notice how Abraham, when they tried to give him the land, he bought it with so many shekels of silver before the people as a ensign, as a witness: "Let it be known this day that I've bought this burying place." See? Purchase it. And Satan tried to--to give Him the kingdom which belongs to him now. He tried to give it to Him as a gift, but He wouldn't receive it 'cause it's... See, then Satan could still have claim on it. But, it had to be bought. Amen. He was the Word in the fullness thereof. They couldn't deceive Him in it.
18-2 Then it is now to get a baptism of Fire. See, it has now... What happened? Christ came and called the Church to repentance, baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission, sanctified the Church, and with the Fire of God come down and burn out all the filth and come and dwells in the human heart.
18-3 Now, the world, to be redeemed for this redeemed person, He uses His same method. He baptized it in water after the antediluvian destruction, shed His Blood upon it to sanctify it and claim it. It's His.
Satan tried to say, "I'll give it to you."
He said, "No, sir, I'll buy it." Let it be a witness. He was lifted up for an ensign--that He bought it; He purchased it. But now it has to go through a baptism of fire, holy fire from God which cleanses the earth and the heavens around it. Then it's purchased so that the redeemed can live on it--live in it in peace.

I know God is good, but sometimes I hurt, and sometimes I cry ...

I look the part,
blend in with the rest of the church crowd.
I know the routine,
I could list all the Bible studies in town.
Watch Christian TV,
I know all the preachers, their cliches.
Been born again, without a doubt I know I'm saved.

But sometimes I hurt, and sometimes I cry.
Sometimes I can't get it right
no matter how hard I seem to try.
Sometimes I fall down, stumble over my own disguise.
I try to look strong as the whole world looks on,
but sometimes alone I cry.

I try to speak faith, never give the devil one inch to get in.
I do worship and praise,
let everybody know just where that I stand.
On the back of my ride is a fish
and a cross for the world to see.
I know God is good all of the time,
Yes, there's no doubt for me.

But sometimes I hurt, and sometimes I cry.
Sometimes I can't get it right
no matter how hard I seem to try.
Sometimes I fall down, stumble over my own disguise.
I try to look strong as the whole world looks on,
but sometimes alone I cry.

Sometimes I fall down, stumble over my own disguise.
I try to look strong as the whole world looks on,
but sometimes alone I cry.

I try to look strong as the whole world looks on,
but sometimes alone I cry.

The miracle of love: When love projects, grace takes over...

Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling.

The new baby was going be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in Mommy’s tummy. He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met her.

The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the the Creek United Methodist Church in Morristown, Tennessee, USA.

In time, the labor pains came. Soon it was every five minutes, every three, every minute. But serious complications arose during delivery and Karen found herself in hours of labor.

Finally, after a long struggle, Michael’s little sister was born. But she was in very serious condition. With a siren howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee.

The days inched by. The little girl got worse. The pediatrician had to tell the parents there was very little hope. Be prepared for the worst. Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot. They had fixed up a special room in their house for their new baby they found themselves having to plan for a funeral.

Michael, however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister. “I want to sing to her,” he kept saying.

Week two in intensive care looked as if a funeral would come before the week was over. Michael kept nagging about singing to his sister, but kids are never allowed in Intensive Care.

Karen decided to take Michael whether they liked it or not. If he didn’t see his sister right then, he may never see her alive. She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU. He looked like a walking laundry basket.

The head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed, “Get that kid out of here now. No children are allowed.”

The mother rose up strong in Karen and the usually mild-mannered lady glared steel-eyed right into the head nurse’s eyes, her lips a firm line, “He is not leaving until he sings to his sister.”

Then Karen towed Michael to his sister’s bedside. He gazed at the tiny infant losing the battle to live. After a moment, he began tossing. In the pure-hearted voice of a 3-year-old, Michael sang:

“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray.”

Instantly the baby girl seemed to respond. The pulse rate began to calm down and became steady.

“Keep on singing, Michael,” encouraged Karen with tears in her eyes.

“You never know, dear, how much I love you, please don’t take my sunshine away.”

As Michael sang to his sister, the baby’s ragged, strained breathing became as smooth as a kitten’s purr. “Keep on singing, sweetheart.”

“The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms”.

Michael’s little sister began to relax as rest, healing rest, seemed to sweep over her. “Keep singing, Michael.” Tears had now conquered the face of the bossy head nurse. Karen glowed.

“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don’t take my sunshine away…”

The next day,…the very next day…the little girl was well enough to go home.

Never give up on the people you love. Love is so incredibly powerful.

- The Woman’s Day Magazine called it, “the miracle of a brother’s song”.
- The medical staff called it a miracle.
- Karen called it a miracle of God’s love.

This is a true story happened in 1992 in Tennessee, USA. The baby girl’s name is Marlee . As of 2013, Marlee is 20 years old and she thinks she is normal like any other girl.

Learn from mistakes

Thomas Edison tried two thousand different materials in search of a filament for the light bulb. When none worked satisfactorily, his assistant complained, “All our work is in vain. We have learned nothing.”

Edison replied very confidently, “Oh, we have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We know that there are two thousand elements which we cannot use to make a good light bulb.”

Face difficulties positively

This parable is told of a farmer who owned an old mule. The mule fell into the farmer’s well. The farmer heard the mule praying or whatever mules do when they fall into wells. After carefully assessing the situation, the farmer sympathized with the mule, but decided that neither the mule nor the well was worth the trouble of saving. Instead, he called his neighbors together, told them what had happened, and enlisted them to help haul dirt to bury the old mule in the well and put him out of his misery.

Initially the old mule was hysterical! But as the farmer and his neighbors continued shoveling and the dirt hit his back, a thought struck him. It suddenly dawned on him that every time a shovel load of dirt landed on his back, HE WOULD SHAKE IT OFF AND STEP UP!

This he did, blow after blow. “Shake it off and step up…shake it off and step up…shake it off and step up!” He repeated to encourage himself. No matter how painful the blows, or how distressing the situation seemed, the old mule fought panic and just kept right on SHAKING IT OFF AND STEPPING UP!

It wasn’t long before the old mule, battered and exhausted, stepped triumphantly over the wall of that well! What seemed like it would bury him actually helped him . . . all because of the manner in which he handled his adversity.

THAT’S LIFE! If we face our problems and respond to them positively, and refuse to give in to panic, bitterness, or self-pity.

The Choosing Of A Bride (65-0429E)

6-4 You have also a choice whether... When you choose this church, you can choose whether you, in this church whether you choose a church that will guide you to your eternal destination. You can choose a church that has a certain creed, that you might think that creed's just what you want; or the other church has their creed. And then there is the Word of God you have a choice of. You have to make your choice. There's an unwritten law among us of choosing.
I believe it was Elijah one time upon Mount Carmel, after the showdown in a great hour of the crisis, that we're just about to come to right now. Perhaps it may be to you or I tonight, that we make this choice like the Mount Carmel experience. Frankly, I think it's going on worldwide now.

LIFE STORY - BRANHAM

Life Story Of William Branham - 08/20/50a
And notice this one thing now. Later on down through life, I had girlfriends like all boys. And I remember I was a little skeptic of girls; I seen the way women act. And frankly, I never did have very much use for women. I don't mean you sisters, now, but just to see how untrue they were, some of them.
Life Story Of William Branham - 08/20/50a
And I said I'd never get married; never want nothing to do with one [women]. I'll be a trapper and a hunter all my life, and I'll never have nothing with the girl. When I was even seventeen, eighteen years old, I'd pass down the street. I'd see a girl on one side, and I thought she was going say something, I'd cross over and go over on the other side, because I just didn't want nothing to do. That's all, didn't want to hook up - caught up with it or anything, I wanted to keep away from it. And so I went ahead. But finally I found a girl that was a real girl. She was a Christian. She afterwards become my wife.

What this dying world needs...

  • What this dying world could use is a
    willing Man of God
Who dares to go against the grain and
    works without applause;
A man who'll raise the shield of Faith,
    protecting what is pure;
Whose love is tough and gentle; a man
    whose word is sure.
God doesn't need an Orator who knows
    what just to say;
He doesn't need authorities to reason Him
    away;
He doesn't need an army to guarantee a
    win;
He just needs a Few Good Men.
Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and
    Love and Cry-
Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid
    to die-
Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor
    once again-
He just needs a Few Good Men.
He calls the broken derelict whose life has
    been renewed;
He calls the one who has the strength to
    stand up for the Truth.
Enlistment lines are open and He wants
    you to come in-
He just needs a Few Good Men.
Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and
    Love and Cry-
Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid
    to die-
Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor
    once again-
He just needs a Few Good Men.
Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and
    Love and Cry-
Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid
    to die-
Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor

The church can never compare with the world

61-0611  REVELATION.CHAPTER.FIVE.1_  JEFFERSONVILLE.IN  ROJC 717-746  SUNDAY_
114               See, we just go around, as I've said, taking one--one corpse from one morgue to another, changing members and things like that. Well, what good does it do us? And we're trying to make it glittery, big fine steeples, great big fine places. "We got to have a better one than the Methodist or a better one than the Baptist, and we're all trying to compete with the Catholic, and we're having bunco games and parties and suppers and entertainments, and everything."
The church can never compare with the world. How can you and your church entertainment ever compare with the Masonic Lodge or--or any of those people who can entertain? That's their grounds. Don't try to go over on their grounds.

...entertained by the Holy Spirit.

57-0808  THE.MIGHTY.CONQUEROR_  EDMONTON.AB  THURSDAY_
E-22       †        But we got too many televisions, and too many radio programs, and entertainments. A Christian wants to be entertained by the Holy Spirit. And too much world has leaked into the church. And they have substituted entertainment in the stead of Gospel preaching. The old fashion Gospel that saved your father and mother, it's just as good tonight as it was in that day and always will be. It's still the same thrill to the Christian heart as it was to Saint Paul who sealed his testimony with his blood.

... can't pray any more...

49-1225  THE.DEITY.OF.JESUS.CHRIST_  JEFFERSONVILLE.IN  V-20 N-12  SUNDAY_
86               Today, the church has soup suppers, pie suppers, see who can dress the best, go into the church for pomp, glory who's got the best church, the best seats, who can play this, who can do that, and no room; all times they got something else to do besides prayer. They can't pray any more. They got something else to do; they can't pray any more. They just can't lerve--serve God like they used to. "No room for Him in the inn." And this is in the end time, friends. "No room for Him in the inn." 'Course, I know what that inn meant, but I'm been referring to this inn.
But the Bible said, "In that day, when the almond tree shall flourish, desire of men shall fail; because he goes to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets; or the silver cord be broken, or the pitcher broke in the fountain." Oh, mercy, my friend...

LIFE'S YOURS, LIVE IT.

"The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day that your life really begins."

DREAM ON.

“Follow your dreams”… a common advice we’ve all heard plenty of times but how many people actually follow their dreams relentlessly? Dreaming is easy but actually making those dreams a reality is a challenge often big enough to bring people to their knees. The road to any great dream is full of external and internal challenges.
Externally, you have the haters, the dream killers, the non-believers. So many people have tossed their dreams aside due to their negativity. Internally, you have your doubts, fears, and inhibitions. It’s that voice inside your head that tries hard to convince you to take the easy road and not aim too high in order to prevent you from being disappointed and hurt.
You can either let these things force you to give up and live with regret or you can make a firm decision that your dreams are far more valuable to you than the negative opinions of others or any challenge that may stand in your way.
It’s time to get serious. Don’t just follow your dreams, chase it down like it stole your baby. Heard me? Like it stole your baby!! Yeah baby. Am not crazy, i'm just Joe, but I know there are only so many times you can start over.

Anyone Can Change!!!

Bad by name; bad by nature?
During Nelson Mandela's 19 years imprisoned on Robben Island, one particular commanding officer was the most brutal of them all:
"A few days before Badenhorst's departure, I was called to the main office. General Steyn was visiting the island and wanted to know if we had any complaints. Badenhorst was there as I went through a list of demands. When I had finished, Badenhorst spoke to me directly.
He told me he would be leaving the island and added: 'I just want to wish you people good luck'. I do not know if I looked dumbfounded, but I was amazed. He spoke these words like a human being and showed a side of himself we had never seen before. I thanked him for his good wishes and wished him luck in his endeavours.
I thought about this moment for a long time afterwards. Badenhorst had perhaps been the most callous and barbaric commanding officer we had had on Robben Island. But that day in the office, he had revealed that that there was another side to his nature, a side that had been obscured but still existed.
It was a useful reminder that all men, even the most seemingly cold-blooded, have a core of decency and that, if their hearts are touched, they are capable of changing. Ultimately, Badenhorst was not evil; his inhumanity had been foisted upon him by an inhuman system. He behaved like a brute because he was rewarded for brutish behaviour."

Keep Believing in Yourself!

There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren’t the way you had hoped they would be.
That’s when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down.
But those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself.
There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them.
Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are.
So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be.
Because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.
Keep Believing in Yourself!

D'YA KNOW THE GOLDEN RULES IN Luke 6:26 – 38

THE GOLDEN RULES

Luke 6:26 – 38
26.       Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

27.       But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

28.       Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

29        And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.

30        Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

31        And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

32        For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

33        And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

34        And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

35        But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36        Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37        Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

38        Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

... BUT ABOVE ALL, IS LOVE...

THE HEALING POISON

A long time ago, a girl named Li-Li got married and went to live with her husband and mother-in-law. In a very short time, Li-Li found that she couldn't get along with her mother-in-law at all.

Their personalities were very different, and Li-Li was angered by many of her mother-in-law's habits. In addition, she criticized Li-Li constantly. Days passed days, and weeks passed weeks.

Li-Li and her mother-in-law never stopped arguing and fighting. But what made the situation even worse was that, according to ancient Chinese tradition, Li-Li had to bow to her mother-in-law and obey her every wish.

All the anger and unhappiness in the house was causing the poor husband great distress.

Finally, Li-Li could not stand her mother-in-law's bad temper and dictatorship any longer, and she decided to do something about it.

Li-Li went to see her father's good friend, Mr. Huang, who sold herbs. She told him the situation and asked if he would give her some poison so that she could solve the problem once and for all.

Mr. Huang thought for awhile, and finally said, “Li-Li, I will help you solve your problem, but you must listen to me and obey what I tell you”.

Li-Li said, "Yes, Mr. Huang, I will do whatever you tell me to do."

Mr. Huang went into the back room, and returned in a few minutes with a package of herbs.

He told Li-Li, "You can't use a quick-acting poison to get rid of your mother-in-law, because that would cause people to become suspicious. Therefore, I have given you a number of herbs that will slowly build up poison in her body. Every other day prepare some pork or chicken and put a little of these herbs in her serving. Now, in order to make sure that nobody suspects you when she dies, you must be very careful to act very friendly towards her. Don't argue with her, obey her every wish, and treat her like a queen."

Li-Li was so happy. She thanked Mr. Huang and
hurried home to start her plot of murdering her mother-in-law.

Weeks went by, and months went by, and every other day, Li-Li served the specially treated food to her mother-in-law. She remembered what Mr. Huang had said about avoiding suspicion, so she controlled her temper, obeyed her mother-in-law, and treated her like her own mother. After six months had passed, the whole household had changed.

Li-Li had practiced controlling her temper so much that she found that she almost never got mad or upset. She hadn't had an argument in six months with her mother-in-law, who now seemed much kinder and easier to get along with.

The mother-in-law's attitude toward Li-Li changed, and she began to love Li-Li like her own daughter. She kept telling friends and relatives that Li-Li was the best daughter-in-law one could ever find. Li-Li and her mother-in-law were now treating each other like a real mother and daughter. Li-Li's husband was very happy to see what was happening.

One day, Li-Li came to see Mr. Huang and asked for his help again. She said, "Dear Mr. Huang, please help me to keep the poison from killing my mother-in-law!

She's changed into such a nice woman, and I love her like my own mother. I do not want her to die because of the poison I gave her."

Mr. Huang smiled and nodded his head. "Li-Li, there's nothing to worry about. I never gave you any poison. The herbs I gave you were vitamins to improve her health.

The only poison was in your mind and your attitude toward her, but that has been all washed away by the love which you gave to her."

MORAL:
Friends, have you ever realized that how you  treat others is exactly how they will treat you?

In China it is said:  The person who loves others will also be loved.

HAVE YOU TASTED JESUS?

THE DOCTOR AND THE APPLE

Psalm 34:8
"Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him."

It is said that at the University of Chicago Divinity School each year they have what is called "Baptist Day." On this day each one is to bring a lunch to be eaten outdoors in a grassy picnic area. Every "Baptist Day" the school would invite one of the greatest minds to lecture in the theological education center. The story is that one year they invited Dr. Paul Tillich.

Dr. Tillich spoke for two and one-half hours "proving" that the resurrection of Jesus was false. He quoted scholar after scholar and book after book. He concluded that since there was no such thing as the historical resurrection, the religious tradition of the church was groundless, emotional mumbo-jumbo, because it was based on a relationship with a risen Jesus, who, in fact, never rose from the dead in any literal sense. He then asked if there were any questions. After about 30 seconds, an old, dark skinned preacher with a head of short-cropped, woolly white hair stood up in the back of the auditorium.

"Doctor Tillich, I got one question," he said as all eyes turned towards him. He reached into his sack lunch and pulled out an apple and began eating it.

"Doctor Tillich"... CRUNCH, MUNCH... "My question is a simple question," CRUNCH, MUNCH. "Now, I ain’t ever read them books you read..." CRUNCH, MUNCH "...and I can't recite the Scriptures in the original Greek" ...CRUNCH, MUNCH ..." I don't know nothin' about Niebuhr and Heidegger"... CRUNCH, MUNCH...

He finished the apple.

"All I wanna know is: This apple I just ate------was it bitter or sweet?"

Dr. Tillich paused for a moment and answered in exemplary scholarly fashion: "I cannot possibly answer that question, for I haven't tasted your apple."

The white-haired preacher dropped the core of his apple into his crumpled paper bag, looked up at Dr. Tillich and said calmly, "Neither have you tasted my Jesus."

The 1,000 plus in attendance could not contain themselves. The auditorium erupted with applause and cheers. Dr. Tillich thanked his audience and promptly left the platform.
Have you tasted Jesus?

God takes one out of the million

33-1 That's the reason I've said what I have tonight. I want to ask you a question: Is it later that we think? Could she already be called, and chosen, sealed away? There won't be one extra one, you know. Could it be possible? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Remember what I said the other day at the breakfast? In the pollen of breeding male and female, there's a million germs goes forth, million eggs goes forth, but there's only one of them live, and yet they're every one just alike: one out of a million. Every one of them the same egg and the same kind of germ, one of them lives; the rest of them dies. No one can tell which is the one that's the ripe egg and what about it. God has to decide that. Whether it's going to be a boy or girl, blond or brunette, or whatever it's going to be; God decides that. Not the first one meets, but the first one God's decided. Maybe one come up here, and one... If you ever noticed in a test tube to see them come together. I've watched it. God has to decide that. One... Every one of them just alike, but by election. The natural birth is by election. God takes one out of the million.
33-2 When Israel left Egypt on their road to the promised land, there were approximately two million people. Every one of them was under the same sacrificial lamb, or they wouldn't have lived. Every one of them listened to Moses the prophet. Every one of them was baptized to him in the Red Sea. Every one of them danced, the women with Miriam up and down the side of the--when the seashore when God destroyed the enemy. Every one of them stood with Moses, and he heard him sing in the Spirit. They every one eat manna out of the wilderness that dropped down from heaven: new manna every night, which is a type of the message. Every one of them eat from it. But out of the two million, how many made it? Two: one out of a million.
There's approximately five hundred million Christians in the world tonight counting Catholic and all: five hundred million so-called believers in the world. If the rapture come tonight, that would mean, if one out of a million was a count (I don't say it is.) but if it was, five hundred people in the next twenty-four hours would be missing. You'd never even hear of it. There'll be that many missing anyhow that can't even be counted for.

The choosing of a Bride (65-0429E)

God choose by character.

28-2 I remember one time a prophet went up to--to take a king, to make a king out of Jesse's sons to take another king's place: Saul. And so Jesse brought him out, and he was a great, big, fine boy and said, "The crown will look right on his head."
And the prophet went to pour the oil on him; he said, "God's refused him." And He refused every one of them till he come to a little old stoop-shouldered, ruddy looking fellow, and he poured the oil upon him, and he said, "God chose him." See, we choose by sight. God choose by character.
Character, there never was a Character like Jesus Christ. It lives in Him, manifests in. We see it true. It's not worldly beauty of Him that attracts His Bride; it is His character, the character of the church that Jesus looks for; not whether it's big buildings; whether it's great denominations; whether it's big membership. He promised to meet with wherever two or three are gathered together. Truly. That's where the true believer rests his hopes, is upon that Word of God being vindicated in truth, what it is. Choose by His Word. Not a worldly loving group, they hate that. No wonder she is divorced from Him, because she's missed His revelation, and she don't have it. He cares not for her, the way she acts and does, and how much of this worldly stuff she has; He's looking for her character, the character of Christ.

WOW , ISN'T THAT SO WOOOOW??

This reminds me of a little story I heard one time of a little boy. A minister was coming up a lane, and he heard a little boy over in a corner saying the alphabet, "A, B, C, D," and he listened at him. He had his hands up toward heaven. He said... After he got through with that, he raised up, put his hat on.
And said, "Son..."
Turned around and looked.
Said, "I'm a minister. I heard you on your knees, holding up your hands, saying the alphabet."
He said, "Sir," he said, "I was raised in a Christian home. Father and mother was both killed suddenly. I was taken out." Said, "The man that I'm living with is so cruel to me," said, "I was just praying for him. I don't know how to pray." He said, "I was just saying all the alphabet, and thought maybe God would understand how to put it together." WOW , ISN'T THAT SO WOOOOW??

God looks at character...

22-7 Not pretty, but character, God looks at character. Man looks at natural beauty. It's deceiving. And that's why a woman was given that beauty for deception, to deceive. A beautiful woman, if she don't use it in the right way, it's a curse to her. That'll send her to hell quicker than anything else I know of. If she just--if... She could be pretty, sure; as long as she stays with her husband and does what's right, and that--that's fine and dandy. But she can take that same thing, and, my, how she can deceive with it, for it was give to her to do so.
Notice now, but God is featured in character. There was no beauty we should desire Jesus, but there never was a character like Him on the earth.
Now, we find out today that the--the church character, Satan and his group, look after big beautiful churches, beautiful things. That's what the world looks at today. Oh, if the pastor, the great So-and-so times So-and-so, so priestly and godly, walking out in these big robes and things like that; they call that beauty. But the real saints of God looks for the character of the vindicated Word.
That's what the saints did in that day when they seen Jesus. He wasn't nothing to look at, but they seen God was in Him; they seen God was with Him.

SO CRUEL...

**Cruel World Indeed**
TRUE STORY ( Mrs Rebbecca Narrates)
17/02/2013 will remain an unforgettable memory in my life. Like every other nights, I went to bed and said goodnyt to my Son (22 years) and my daughter (18 years) and we all slept.
At about 3:55am on the above date, unknown gunmen broke into our apartments to rob but unfortunately there was nothing they could lay hand on. They asked my son to get up pointing gun at him and asked my daughter to lie facing the ceiling and she did as they told her.
Shockingly they asked my son to have sex with his sister right in front of them and that if they are not impress, He will extend that generosity to His mother (Me) that they are not in the mood for rape. And that is this the price wewill pay else he will be a dead person.
He was shocked and after a while He asked them to shoot him that he cannot do it that even if he do it and they leave, that he will take his life in less than a day cos he can't live with such memory. They got angry and one asked the other to shoot him lets go and He randomly shot my son and he fell in the pool of his own blood and they left.
All I knew is that He was alive till we got to the hospital and after several hours of medics on him,
He went into COMA and to this day he hasn't said a word yet just breathing..
I don't want to lose my only Son. My daughter has been crying since that incidence.
Please Help Us In prayer so that my only son will come back alive for me, cos am just a widow and they are what I have always lived for. My Hope is in God.

God Bless and Protect You, Amen!, Mrs Rebbecca.

choose a genuine, born-again woman

The Choosing Of A Bride, Los Angeles, CA, 65-0429e
62 Now, for, it is becoming, if a Christian would choose a wife, he ought to choose a genuine, born-again woman, regardless of what she looks like. It's what she is, what makes her. And then, again, that reflects his own godly character, and reflects what's in his mind and what's going to be in the future, for his family will be raised by such a woman, for the future plans for his home.
