God Testifying Of His Gifts

February 22, 2018
Quote of the Day

When you take your stand for Jesus Christ, stay there and die by it. What God says is the truth, and don't you fear what… Satan hasn't got anything to do about it. Don't argue with him; don't fuss with him. Just ignore him and walk away. If you fuss with him, he will keep you fussing day and night. See? "Well," he will say, "You know you're not healed."
You'll say, "Well, now, look, Satan, I want to tell you something." Don't say it. Just say, "Get away, I don't want to hear nothing about you." And walk on, and say, "Thank You, Lord." Go on. See? Don't pay any attention to it.

Whose battle?

2 Chronicles 20:15

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle [is] not yours, but God's.

It takes more than a good message from the pulpit

92 Oh, what we need today is a calling together, a getting ready. And not depending on the preacher, but you, as an individual before God, make yourself ready for the Coming of the Lord, to escape all this corruption.

93 No matter what they call you, and what action they take, that doesn’t change God one bit. God will do it, just the same. He’s depending and waiting on us. Oh, my!

94 Some people say, “Well, I go to church on Sunday morning. I listen to our pastor, which is a fine preacher.” That’s good. I appreciate that. And you are the America, the world, whoever it is. But it takes more than a good message from the pulpit. It takes your life. It takes you, to get ready.

I don't believe that anything happens to a Christian by chance.

I watch little things. Just every little thing has a meaning, to me. I don't believe that anything happens to a Christian by chance. I think it's ordained of God, 'cause Jesus said He would make all things work together for good to them that loved Him.

It’s going to cost you something, it’s going to cost me something

Samson prayed right when he prayed, “Lord, let me die with the enemy.” He knowed it was going to cost him something. He knowed it was going to cost something. It’s going to cost you something, it’s going to cost me something; your social prestige, your place and position in the denomination. “Lord, let me die, then. I see Your purpose.” He knowed it was going to cost him something. You must be ready to die out, to your enemy, to get in the blessings of God. Samson was willing to pay the price, to get the power of God again upon him. He was willing to do it. Are you?

He's lower than the animal...

67 And you take the Holy Spirit off of a man, he’s lower than the animal, he’s worse than the animal. That’s a hard thing to say. But you take a man that’s unregenerated in his mind, without the Holy Spirit to direct his thoughts, and—and things like that, he would throw a baby out of a mother’s arms and ravish her for beastly lust. That’s exactly.

Jesus is with me so I claim the victory

I've stood on the bank of a wide raging river Trusting that I'd get across. I've made my way through some valleys and deserts Believing that I'd never get lost. I've been at the foot of what felt like Mt. Everest Knowing I'd have the strength for the climb 'Cause through every trial, each test and temptation, One thing is sure every time:
Chorus
Over and over, again and again, God is faithful. Over and over, again and again, Through it all He's made me able To stand and survive, to come through alive When it sure looked like I couldn't win. Jesus is with me so I claim the victory Over and over again.
If you ask me why I have no hesitation, God does what He says He will do. I'd simply say every battle has taught me There's nothing He won't help me through. So why should I dwell on the hardships and struggles When I look just beyond them I see The way this will end is with great celebration, Deep in my heart I believe:
